How we build your website
Four steps and a preview link before anything goes live. Here is exactly how we build websites for local businesses, start to finish.
Step 01
Discovery call (30 minutes)
We learn what you have, what you need, and what your goal is. You don’t need to know anything about websites; we ask the questions. By the end of the call you’ll know whether you need a new build, a refresh, or just a care plan, and what each would cost.
Step 02
We build it
We handle design, setup and hosting. You provide your content and approvals, and if you don’t have everything ready, we help you fill the gaps. Builds start at $1,500, with $497 to begin. A five-page site is usually live in five to seven business days once we have your content, excluding revision time. Larger or custom builds get a timeline with your quote.
Step 03
You review and approve
We send you a private preview link. You click through it on your phone and computer, exactly the way your customers will. Two rounds of revisions are included. When you approve the design, the balance is due. If you don’t approve it, your $497 is refunded in full. Nothing launches until you say it does.
Step 04
We keep it running
A monthly care plan handles software updates, security monitoring, verified backups, and small edits. Your website stays off your to-do list, and you have someone to call when you need a change.
What we need from you
The whole list is shorter than most people expect, and none of it is technical.
- Your logo, or a green light for us to work with what you have
- A plain description of your business, your services, and your service area
- Any photos you want on the site (if you’re short on photos, we can help)
- Quick feedback at each step, so the 5-to-7-day timeline holds
How we work: common questions
How long does it take to build a WordPress website?
A five-page site is usually live in five to seven business days once we have your content. Larger sites with more pages or custom features can take a little longer. Larger builds get a timeline with your quote, so there are no surprises.
What do I need to provide?
Your content and your approvals. That usually means your logo, text about your business, any photos you want to use, and quick feedback at each step. If you don’t have everything ready, we help you fill the gaps. We handle all the technical work.
How many revisions are included?
Two rounds of revisions are included before your site goes live. You review it on a private preview link, send your changes as one complete list, and we work through them. Ongoing changes after launch are covered by a monthly care plan.
What happens after my website goes live?
You choose: run it yourself, or put it on a care plan. On a plan, we handle plugin updates, security, backups, and small edits, so your site stays fast, safe, and current, and you don’t have to log in and fix things yourself.
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. We ask plain questions about your goals, handle the technical side, and keep you in the loop in plain English. No jargon and no homework.
